If you are a lover of deep meditative Drum & Bass then you will be fully aware of New Zealand based producer RQ. His past output includes stunning work for ASC’s Auxiliary imprint as well a landmark album Solid Ground in 2018 on Blu Mar Ten Music.
2020 sees the release of the New Colours LP on RQ’s own Dawn imprint. Profoundly modern in its sound while clearly influenced by the past in the best possible way, RQ journeys across 12 tracks joining the dots between sparse, jazzy and outright rowdy. We cannot recommend this album enough.
